Dr Haisley Formosa is a passionate GP practicing in the Illawarra. Originally from the area, she moved to Sydney to complete her undergraduate degree and medical degree at UNSW (2014) and the University of Sydney (2018) respectively. She then trained on the Central Coast of NSW for several years at Gosford Hospital, including a year of paediatric medicine in which she completed the Sydney Child Health Program.

Since transitioning to General Practice, Dr Formosa has completed the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health, the Professional Certificate of Aesthetic Medicine, the Skin Cancer College Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine, and the Skin Cancer College Certificate of Dermoscopy.

Dr Formosa was excited to move back to the Illawarra in 2023 and is a current Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is enthusiastic about early detection and management of skin cancers, and is excited to be part of the Advantage Skin Clinic Team!
