ND:YAG Long Pulse

To treat vascular lesions (vessels), hair removal and tattoo removal

What to expect

Before any laser treatment at Advantage Skin Clinic your dermal clinician will have an in-depth consultation with you to discuss your treatment plan and goals, as well as relevant medical history that your clinician needs to be aware of. All patients will then sign a laser consent form before beginning the treatment. Your clinician will cleanse the treatment area before applying a pre-laser gel onto the skin. You will also be given protective glasses to wear.

Duration

The duration of an ND:YAG Long Pulse Laser session varies based on the treatment area and the specific procedure. Our team will provide you with a clear understanding of the expected duration during your consultation.

Downtime

Most treatments with ND:YAG Long Pulse Laser involve minimal downtime. Patients can typically resume their regular activities shortly after the procedure. However, some redness or mild swelling may occur, and our team will provide post-treatment care instructions to optimise your recovery.

Price

Your dermal clinician will discuss pricing with you during your consultation prior to treatment.

Our ND:YAG Long Pulse Laser utilises neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet (Nd:YAG) to deliver controlled pulses of laser energy. The long-pulse duration of this laser system makes it particularly effective for various dermatological and cosmetic treatments.
