Dermal Filler
What to expect
Before any injectable appointment, patients must present to one of the doctors at Advantage Skin Clinic for an initial consultation and script. An injectable script is valid for up to 6 months according to TGA guidelines. A doctor will reassess you for subsequent scripts.
Your dermal filler appointment will begin with a consultation with the registered nurse to discuss your desired goals, medical history and concerns. Your nurse will assess your facial features and tailor a treatment plan for you.
Duration
Receiving dermal filler usually takes less than 60 minutes. Results from dermal fillers last from 6-18 months, and it may take up to two weeks to see the full effect of the treatment.
Downtime
There may be some temporary swelling and bruising post injection of dermal fillers, resulting in some downtime. However, our team will work with you to minimise this downtime, and it will generally subside within a few days.
Price
The cost of dermal fillers will depend on the area treated and the amount of product required. A consultation with our team will allow us to provide a tailored quote that fits your unique needs.
